The Browning Network Explained

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

  PLEASE SEE BELOW.

Referrals from Browning Associates will be provided in two specific forms, each serving a distinct purpose. These include:

1. Introduction Calls: Initially, we will reach out to individuals who have been previously contacted by us to introduce you. These introductions will be made via phone calls, facilitating direct and personal connections. Typically, we will offer you 1-2 referrals at a time through this method.

2. Email Introductions: Additionally, we will also extend our outreach on your behalf through email introductions. Our extensive database categorizes resumes based on industry, geography, and compensation. These individuals do not have open executive positions or immediate knowledge of job opportunities specifically for you. While many are currently employed, a significant portion is also actively seeking new employment opportunities. We will initiate contact with them either by phone or email to introduce you. In some instances, we may expedite the process by composing an email on your behalf, which we will send from a custom email account created for your outreach. It's important to note that this approach does not involve a formal verbal introduction; instead, we draft a letter on your behalf. Those who express interest will respond to us directly and according to their reply, we will formalize the introduction for you directly.

Please consider the following regarding our referral process:

• Varied Responses: Executives in our proprietary database will have diverse responses to your outreach. Some are enthusiastic about reinforcing their existing networks and are readily available to connect with you. However, others may require more guidance on effective networking strategies.

• Expect Questions: It's common for some individuals to have questions when we introduce you. Some may inquire about Browning Associates, while others may be interested in your opinion of our organization.

• Appointment Attendance: There may be instances where individuals do not adhere to their scheduled appointments.

• Reciprocity Varies: Some individuals may request contacts or information from you without offering immediate reciprocity. It’s important to discus and discern this matter with your Project Manager.

• Time Constraints and Distractions: People you connect with may have various time constraints or distractions that can affect the quality of your interactions.

The key takeaway from this process is that networking with individuals who do not have a preexisting history with you can present unique challenges. It's important to understand that these dynamics are not exclusive to our network but are typical when meeting people for the first time outside your immediate circle. However, through patience, persistence, and growing networking skills, you will transform these interactions into valuable connections and meaningful opportunities for your career.
Rest assured, we are here to support you throughout this journey, and we look forward to helping you forge powerful connections and navigate your career path effectively.
